About PECFEST 2026

PECFEST is the annual techno-cultural extravaganza of Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh. What started as a humble college gathering has evolved into the largest, most highly-anticipated student-led festival in North India. Spanning three action-packed days, it is a vibrant celebration of art, technology, music, and intellect that brings together the brightest minds from across the country.

This year, PECFEST 2026 presents 'A Mystic Mikado'—a thematic collision of ancient Japanese heritage and neon-drenched cyberpunk futurism. We are transforming the campus into a sprawling, immersive sanctuary where tradition meets tomorrow. From high-stakes hackathons and robotics showdowns to electrifying cultural showcases and star-studded pronites, the Mikado offers an experience unlike any other.

With a legacy rooted in a 105-year-old institution, the festival draws a massive footfall of over 50,000 students from more than 100 premier institutes. Whether you are here to compete for the ₹15L+ prize pool, create art, or simply witness the spectacle, the gates are open. Step into the neon glow, and become part of the legend.
